We are extremely proud of our fleet. Vehicle interiors, exteriors and undersides are showered with love and attention to detail ensuring that your journey with us is a memorable one (for all of the right reasons).
When it comes to maintaining our fleet, our vehicles are given the equivalent of an M.O.T. test every six weeks; regardless of mileage covered. During each six weekly check, each vehicle is rigorously inspected to ensure compliance with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency’s policy on roadworthiness. We highlight the fact that our vehicles enjoy a calibrated brake system and smoke emissions test nine times a year for peace of mind and also to ensure that we are keeping our carbon footprint to an absolute minimum while undertaking your work.
Additionally, prior to your journey, our Driver is required to set aside 15 minutes at the start of their day to undertake a Daily First Use Inspection of their vehicle. To see what checks our Driver’s will make prior to your journey, click here.
For added peace of mind, Dekkabus has arrangements in place with global main dealership franchises operating a 24 hour, 365 days of the year service, so that in the highly unlikely event of a vehicle suffering technical problems, full back-up assistance is only a telephone call away.
All Public Service Vehicle operations must be licenced by the DVSA. They monitor our pass rate at annual MOT testing, random roadside checks and operating centre visits. While some operations make it their choice to ‘fly under the radar’, Dekkabus has a completely open door ethos on its operating policies and welcomes all enforcement agencies to scrutinise it’s meticulous operation at any time.
